Our in-house Solicitor Advocates work on a daily basis at the Police Station, Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court. All of our Solicitor Advocates are also Duty Solicitors.

Dermot Clarke is a partner here at Morgan Clarke. He is a vastly experienced criminal advocate and is a qualified Duty Solicitor. He has also acquired Higher Court Advocacy status and frequently represents his clients at the Crown Court.
Mazar Iqbal

Mazar Iqbal has been a partner in the firm since January 2008. He is a Duty Solicitor with a wide range of knowledge of all aspects of Criminal litigation from the police station right through to the Crown Court. He is also a Higher Court Advocate and can therefore represent clients at the Crown Court.
Christopher Coleman

Christopher Coleman is an experienced criminal defence Solicitor Advocate and has built a solid reputation for securing the best possible outcomes for his clients whether they find themselves at local police stations or before the criminal courts. He is a qualified Duty Solicitor and a Higher Courts (Crimial) Advocate. In addition he has experience of advising and assisting his clients in Prison Law cases throughout England and Wales.
Wendy Kingsbury

Wendy Kingsbury qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and has been practicing as a specialised criminal lawyer with Morgan Clarke since then. She is a qualified Duty Solicitor and represents people in the Police Station and Magistrates’ Court. Furthermore she has built up a specialism in advising and assisting people who are already in prison.
Jo Messenger

Jo Messenger is the legal secretary to the Criminal Law and Prison Law Team. She also has a BTEC Level 3 Advanced Dipolma in Paralegal Work (Criminal Law). She has worked as a Legal Secretary for 6 years.
